Re: WB Game Day V Geelong R12 2022
My dog is growling at the TV with Jeremy Cameron being interviewed.....it's on silent.
I hate Cameron, he's a piece of shit......but we'll always look back on the 2016 preliminary final with fondness I guess.

That one stings, I really can't handle losses to Geelong.

Jeremy Cameron- “the Bulldogs are a very good side, everyone knows they’re a very good side”…record scratch “they weren’t a very good side”

We have seen that episode before classic dogs game against the cats.
Get going late, wasteful going forward and yep you guessed it one tall short as usual.
So disappointing.

Geelong so drilled so committed so well structured. Fully deserved it.
Scott is some coach.
Libba is the heart and soul of this side what a get on my back effort; but we really miss 2021 Bontempelli he takes us from good to very good.
At the game it was clear the Cats had us in the air very very early.

Actually since 2016 most Coaches with decent sides have.

Re: WB Game Day V Geelong R12 2022
Just not good enough, I don't think we're a finals team and if we do squeeze in there I doubt we'll trouble to many.
It's just frustrating, we have to work so hard to score, our forward setup is a debacle. The sealer Cameron kicked summed it up. Clear forward line, forward playing in front, miss kick, chest mark. If that was our end we'd have players everywhere standing in the way.
I'll sound like a broken record but selections, we need another big in there to help Naughton. Stewart stays in we don't get close in this one. There is no one to drag these guys out of the way.

Re: WB Game Day V Geelong R12 2022
Failing to capitalise after the cornerstone of their defence went off in the first quarter is so frustrating.
In patches we were brilliant, most of the time we failed to do anything with the ball.
We have zero F50 pressure - the ease they rebounded out hurt.

Re: WB Game Day V Geelong R12 2022
I've had enough of our coaching group.
The fact we came out as limp as we did is on them. Another non top 4 finish.
Our defensive set up was pathetic - we allowed open lanes for Cameron to walk into.
We play Khamis as a second ruck/bench, while Naughton was getting owned and we never looked capable of taking a mark. If that was our plan, why didn't we just play Sweet?
This is garbage from a list supposed to be contending and the buck should be stopping with our coaching group.

Re: WB Game Day V Geelong R12 2022
Players have a lot to answer for what they turned up in that first quarter.
That was some certified, diamond encrusted, rolled in gold flakes, steaming pile of horse crap they put out during that opening quarter.
Kudo's to those more astute than I for being able to judge our game plan to be missing. I couldn't see enough players execute the most elementary skills or decisions to be able to pass any judgement on the game plan.
I'm pretty confident the planning didn't say let's bomb it and kick to Stewart and De Koning's advantage. Or to turn the ball over inexplicably in a horrible position to defend.
Glad they fought it out, cause I thought we were gonna lose by triple digits by the end of the 1st Qtr. But, whatever, at the end of the day it's just another important test, that we failed, yet again, to rise up to.
Interesting times.

This happens literally every time we play them.

Can we move on from borderline state level players in McComb and McNeil?
I'd much rather invest time into Jones and Bedendo moving forward.

They refuse to play Schache in that role. Instead we had Cody at his worst..unrealistic flying and staging. McNeil..invisible. McComb..battler, effort unquestioned.
Our skills and decision making at key moments were sub par.
