I don’t know if I agree with that. Always thought his ball use was pretty disappointing.

I understand its a salary dump and that changes things slightly - but usually that would just be that you get Bowes for nothing. Why offer pick 7 as well - completely unnecessary.
I'd say it would be Pick 7 + Bowes for a second round pick and his salary. Still not great though.

We need speed desperately but I can’t see the positional fit with us at the moment with our style of play. Too many attributes to not be playing AFL will get snapped up by someone.

That might net us Phillipou or even Cadman, and Hayes.
He could be a creative type for us and I don't see any downside in getting him across to the kennel especially if it lands us a top 10 draft pick as a bonus. What am I missing here because there doesn't appear to be a lot of interest?
80 games of experience as well.

I would be more than happy to get him in.

Not sure but he has two years to go and his contract is back ended, so might be high

I’d say a few clubs would’ve campaigned the change during the year.
Gold Coast nearly did something similar with Darcy McPherson to north last year but the McPherson said no.

We have to spend the Hurley money first.

LOBB, JONES ... AND Demon Adam Tomlinson is in the trade mix ... @StevoMedia
hearing whispers he has had a medical at the Western Bulldogs. Another key back re-inforcement at the kennel?
Nope, don't like this. A player that doesn't have a position who still loses a lot of defensive match ups despite having May and Lever in the defensive setup and has been overtaken by Petty who is solid but not amazing.
