Based on his performances at SANFL level, I'd rather just re-sign Cordy.
Port are desperate for anyone over 192cm to play KPD, McAsey is under their noses and they have zero interest. I think that says a lot.

Seems highly regarded. I think he's better than McComb.
He's a better player than Garner, but Garner can plug and play the BP role and uses the ball well at VFL level.
I think in terms of 'playability' Garner offers us more. Duryea gets a year, but how much does he play?

Could Sullivan provide depth in the Dunks role?

An option but he would be a fair way off Dunks standards

Totally, it was depth in that role.

I doubt he could make Tortillas as this stage, hopefully he just starts with basic Nachos.

I think Duryea plays every game that he is fit for, clearly best 22.

    Fringe for me.

Doesn't have many afl worthy traits.

I know I'm in the minority but rather JJ back there instead of one of Bevo's Hawks mates.

Loving where this thread is heading and its why I'm a big supporter of Rourke. So easy to see why he is in the team.

I can't tell if this is one of your jokes?

Duryea controls the backline and is our best one on one defender with elite kicking skills

No joke I'm not a big fan.

Feels like he's doing us a favour coming over to the west.

Took some roles like player interviews from other players that I may know but weren't Bevo's mates.

Reckon he'd fully endorse Clarko and Fagan and then tweet a photo with Marra

How many will he be fit for, is the point.
We lack a proper small lockdown defender and Garner seems to make position pretty well.

So, you don’t rate him as a person, therefore you don’t rate him as a player?
More of an In Bruges guy?

    Hey hey.

    Maybe.

I think he's a so so player with no elite traits.

He does get a lot of love here, not sure why.

That's fair enough, I thought you were more in the GG camp of just not rating him.

I think he is a good lockdown defender, on-field leader, has courage to go back with the flight and is a tidy defensive kick. I don't think we have many equivalent players in terms of his role - Richards is the closest but not as good defensively.
