Re: Early Trade Rumours for 2022
Maybe the forward going back is this guy?
Fischer McAsey
It's been a rough three seasons for the No.6 pick in the 2019 NAB AFL Draft since arriving at West Lakes. McAsey played 10 games in his first season before form struggles and injury curtailed his progress. The key position player missed a chunk of the most recent pre-season with a back problem but has got on the park to play 13 SANFL games. After starting as a defender, McAsey has been playing forward, kicking 11 goals from his past nine matches. Taylor Walker, Darcy Fogarty and most recently Riley Thilthorpe have filled the key forward posts at senior level, but the Crows have tried a number of combinations in 2022. - Michael Whiting

What would Melbourne get from Fremantle if they traded both Jackson and Brayshaw there?
Lloyd Meek, 2 first rounders and a 2nd rounder?

Brayshaw is a restricted free agent. It could be a freebee

*Band 1 - which for them is a pick immediately after their first round pick.
Could be a Buddy type situation where they end up with a pick in the late teens. Certainly makes sense that Acres has been low-balled and Darcy Tucker looks set to move to a Victorian club for peanuts.
WA snoops seem to think Logue is off to West Coast which is a little weird as very few players switch between the two, especially not players rated as highly as Logue.

Yep family are. Has really not developed at all in the AFL system. Contacted until the end of 2023 IIRC

Given he's clearly on the outer what would suffice Adel to pry him out?
In saying that if he's not getting a run with Adel it would be doubtful he would walk into our team... but sometimes a change of scenario does wonders.

Pocket change?
From a list balance point of view having an extra tall in our system is attractive.
Hoping he could do a Fossie? Sub part CHF for Fitzroy then us then solid CHB.

Not really because he has always been a defender as far as I know. The Crows have thrown him forward in the SANFL either to educate him or out of desperation.
I haven't seen him play but reports tend to remind me of Schache, a key position high draft pick that has so far not lived up to expectations and lacks some competitiveness. Although Schache has shown more that McAsey ever has. There seem to be serious doubts on whether he makes it at all.

Is there any source for our alleged interest in Jones?
How would we draft (insert better verb) him?

Not sure if our interest is real but maybe.
He could sign with us, no need for a trade. He retired from the game due to the vaccination requirements.
