Melbourne will love this. Potentially makes them a far better side if they land Grundy AND get x2 first round picks.
Jackson is a talent but not worth x2 first rounders nor 900K.
I'm annoyed that Melbourne actually benefit from this.
If we lost Marra or Darcy I'd be livid regardless of what we got for them.
I think this is Melbourne's equivalent - they are losing their best young player.

Her parents live in QLD, so I guess she prefers there. My remarks were answering Happydays query.
Anyway, I don't buy into the go home factor that players use as an excuse. You are playing an elite sport and you go where your best opportunity is.

Bruhn at GWS another gone after the 2yr contract. They'll get some high picks or very high if dealing with WCE then flip it to the Pies for Grundy

Re: Early Trade Rumours for 2022
West Coast would be a far better destination for Jackson, NicNat on his last legs and with Kennedy retiring so a fair amount of money is getting freed up. Always thought that Freo was a bizarre destination because Darcy is a better ruck and only a couple of years older.

But which club has better prospects of playing Finals?

Haha the only thing anyone remembers of that GF is your meltdown. You've saved me a lot of mental scarring.

Re: Early Trade Rumours for 2022
Apparently Freo's pitch to Jackson was not around him being first ruck.
But a hybrid midfielder, wingman, forward similar to Mark Blicavs at Geelong.
Difference being you don't pay a role player $900K...
Seriously looks like buyer beware for Luke Jackson and Tim English.
More of an In Bruges guy?

I remember Luke Darcy attending some centre bounces but not as ruck. He was a freak clearance player so was worth a try.
Some think Blicavs is the most important player to team structure in the AFL. Bevo would love a player like that. Flexibility!

Nothing personal Aza but I have to admit I don't get all this dislike for Tim. One minute posters said he would be the currently the best second ruck forward playing now some want to him out the door. He is certainly not the worst number one ruck going around either. We all read the stats posted previously for average hit outs. I have posted again. He was slightly better than Marshall, Draper and Goldstein. Have I missed something? Surely we have to take the raw stats in consideration. His average disposals were 18.27. Not sure of anyone else.

When you get dominated in a final like Tim did I think you just have to wear the criticism for the Summer. He can prove people wrong next year if he has it in him.
