I don’t know how losing Brodie Grundy to bring in Billy Frampton makes them better, and it shouldn’t, but it somehow will. I’m giving up on trying to make sense of it.
I know this is verging into conspiracy theory territory but I remain absolutely convinced that bigger clubs are still finding a way for brown paper bag deals.
And because you know I value objectivity, even though it's for squares, there's also no doubt in my mind that were we a big club we'd do it too.

Well I was watching TV one day and I couldn't believe my eyes.
The covid vaccine made a women magnetic.
She placed objects against her body and they stuck!
So now I have a much more open mind.

Well...it makes them better because they already have 2x ruckman who are working pretty OK together and BOTH can take an occasional mark up forward...AND Frampton was banished to the backline by Adelaide and has made an OK fist of that - so he gives them depth in two positions.
When they convinced Darcy Cameron to leave Sydney and become Grundy's backup, that made them a better team. What is happening now is a result of that. Unfortunately for us, we haven't been able to get a second ruck - sorry, a young-ish 2nd ruck - from another club to help English...we got Martin of course who WOULD have been amazing in 2018 but in 2021...
What should I tell her? She's going to ask.

Adelaide's Billy Frampton has expressed his desire to be traded to Collingwood. Out of contract at the Crows and being sought as a versatile tall option. More on @AFLcomau
Looks like the Pies will be bringing in a few players this year.
They had been working on him for months.
He's played some defence in the SANFL too

Meek wants out.
Is he any good? Should we be talking to him?

Re: Early Trade Rumours for 2022
Poor old Schache, we all wanted him to succeed, but there comes a time you have to move on.
DOCKERS NOT CHASING SCHACHE DESPITE CLUB GREAT’S PROPOSAL
Fremantle is not pursuing Western Bulldogs tall Josh Schache despite former Dockers player Paul Hasleby urging the club to go after the 25-year-old.
Schache, a former pick No.2, played just seven senior games for the Dogs in 2022 and faces a difficult battle to break into the squad given the tall timbre it has.
That, plus the potential addition of wantaway Dockers utility Rory Lobb - who Fremantle insists will remain at the club as per his contract in 2023 - saw Haselby urge the Dockers to pursue Schache in addition to Luke Jackson.
“His last three games in the VFL: seven, seven, three (goals). If that was in the WAFL, if we had a player kicking those goals throughout the finals series and the last couple of rounds, we’d be saying, ‘well, maybe there is something there’,” Hasleby said on SEN WA.
“He is a player that I’m not saying they should target, but maybe it’s an option as part of that trade or even if the Western Bulldogs don’t want him.
“Because if Lobb goes there, they’ve got (Sam) Darcy, they’ve got (Aaron) Naughton, they’ve got (Jamarra) Ugle-Hagan, there is no spot for Josh Schache.”
Channel 7 reporter Ryan Daniels reported on Friday the Dockers “are not pursuing” Schache at this stage.

I read that and it was pure spit balling from Hasleby based on Schache kicking goals in the VFL. I doubt he even watched the highlights.

They were against the worst sides ever too. All credit to Josh, but I doubt he played on an actual defender.
If you give him 10 looks at goal he will nail 7 most weeks.
