The Moment: Rnd 8, 2022 vs Port Adelaide

The moment, the best, most courageous moment that caught your eye in today's round 8 match against Port Adelaide. Was it the moment that told you 'we've got this' or 'we lost this one right here'? Or was it the moment that you went 'wow....that is crazy courage'

That was a bad miss. They didn't look like losing after that. They nearly went end to end for goal but missed an easy shot. But got the goal a few plays later.

    That.

Also the Truck “insufficient” free very early. After that the avalanche of BS calls came in.

    Plus I don’t reckon Naughton’s 2nd (?) shot was touched.

The kick might have been touched (wasn’t) but the mark definitely was not. Embarrassing 30 seconds for our usually reliable boys in green.

The umpire was metres away and called it a goal. The vision was not conclusive, how can they over ride the umpire with crappy 2d view

Stole my thunder. It felt like The Moment for Port when they gave away the interchange 50, but then we couldn't capitalise and it felt like their night
If you kicked five goals and Tom Boyd kicked five goals, Tom Boyd kicked more goals than you.

When Naughts basically crumbed his own ground ball and kicked a goal I knew he was in for a big one.

O'Brien injury maybe but they were dominating the air prior. Probably when Bont was ruled out xD

I agree Baz's miss was pretty poor, but I think O'Brien going off was the moment - its started a chain of really bad luck - Vanders pinging a hammy; Flea having a brain fade and trying to hip and shoulder a brick wall.

O’Brien going off allowed Marshall to play out of his skin and pretty much end the game halfway thru the 3rd.

Marshall is a good footballer. We were sniffing around a few seasons ago. He certainly would be handy at the moment.

Was about to post the same thing, Buk's goal was a sensational moment and a real reason to watch the game when things aren't great.

Baz's miss was crucial, he needs to be kicking those as an elite player. I wanted to post something disparaging about goal kicking practice versus marketing/ insta but managed to contain myself and focus my aggression on Bevo who after the real moment of O'Brien going off was too stubborn to go back to basics.
Nobody's looking for a puppeteer in today's wintry economic climate.
