4 years into the system and he is getting serious about strengthening his frame. Collier-Dawkins might get another chance.

Re: Delistings and Retirements 2022
The Crows have delisted both Paul Seedsman and Andrew McPherson, but have committed to taking the pair in the Rookie Draft.
Rookie category is not what it was intended for.

Re: Delistings and Retirements 2022
Interesting. McPherson is a bit like Duryea. Tidy mid sized defender. Not sure what he is like at actually defending but I thought Adelaide rated him higher than "we are gonna cut you so we can put you in the last spot on our list".
I should leave it alone but you're not right

Are they just trying to clear some spots because of the father son pick they have committed to?
Seems like spots are tight at a few clubs.

They are upgrading a couple of rookie listed players also. The ruckman Mofra was keen on (Straun ?) and another player also.

Yep, the AFL are to blame for it. Can't blame the all 18 clubs exploiting the rules.
I feel for Seedsman, it seems his concussion issues are not improving.

Same here, this concussion issue is a big issue for the sport.
I dont like the way the clubs moan about something and the AFL gives them the flexibility to address it and then the clubs feel empowered to start rorting it.

Same as it ever was.
Give them an inch etc. It's definitely on if the downsides of it being a cutthroat industry - a lot of times players health and welfare are put aside for what's better for the team.

Playing professional level sports isn't the be all end all and if you can't bring yourself to play with that SA media microscope looking over everything you do then I don't blame him for stepping away.
Didn't blame Tom Boyd for stepping away and later retiring either, it's a brutal business even before you get out onto the field.

Re: Delistings and Retirements 2022
Sydney Stack, very very silly.
Caught drink driving while unlicensed, in an unregistered car.
I guess we can snuff out any chance of mid season draft pick up now. Sad story for a guy so talented.
