Re: WB Game Day 1st Elimination Final 2022 vs Fremantle

Move from Subiaco ground to new Perth stadium has I think weakened advantage Eagles and Freo had to a degree. If course there’s the home crowd factor though. I think we are capable and hoping Bevo our mastermind comes up with a winning strategy. Whether we can enact it well enough is the question. Have to have big change from first half of last game we played with them and reckon we should have Naughton & English roaming free to be a down the line marking target with Darcy playing mostly forward.

    I want to believe.

    I just don't, can't and won't trust this group.

The ability for us to wipe Fremantle off the ground is there, but you have to look at 2022 holistically. We've really only played one very good game (v Melbourne), maybe the Sydney game earlier in the year if you excuse poor conversion. Aside from that, we haven't really looked threatening for very long.

I hope they play with a 'schackles off' mindset and play with positive aggression, as they did in last years finals series. But a lot would need to change both individually and collectively.

I'm excited that Marra and Darce get their first finals. This can only hold them in even better stead for pre-season and beyond.

We also gave Collingwood a spanking - so beat three of the top 4 this year, however, who knows with this mob. Have been so inconsistent

Tickets sold out in 5 hours yesterday. Let's shut down the noise in the first 5 minutes, ruin their day and rain on their parade.

He has had a very interrupted year. First game back last week from a hamstring. There was discussion he would play WAFL for more game time.

Margin: Bulldogs in a close one - 3 points
    First goal: Bont

Really looking forward to another crack at it in the finals. We have had a tough season and I’m just so proud to have got there. Hoping we can really give it a good shake in 2022.

Yeah. At the start of the 2016 campaign before we faced West Coast we were 67/1 for the premiership. So wish I had got on board. Before we face Freo we are 34/1 for the premiership. Gotta be something there we can hang our hat on.

We have to get off to a solid start and keep the scoreboard ticking over.
I don't care if we end up losing by a big margin as it really doesn't matter but we must go into this game with a positive intent.
