    Charles Sutton Medal

    Who is going?

    It's Wednesday 28th September 2022 at Crown.

Who is going to win it?

My choice are from Josh Dunkley, Tom Libertore & Ed Richards.

I think it will be one of those three.

    Are you going?

Yes, I have booked my ticket to go just waiting for confirmation from the club.

I shall be there. Haven't missed one for a while, be nice to get back to one.

I think Dunkley, Libba or Naughton. I think Naughts came 4th? one year. He seems to poll well.

Macrae will be up there as always, and I expect Bailey Smith to be in the lead early doors prior to his headbutt incident.

He still seems invested in the club so he is very likely to.

Surely he would’ve made a decision one way or the other by then… if he’s chosen to leave would he still attend?

Not sure it would be good for his ‘brand’ to be subjected to negative vibes if he was on his way out.

You would think so but don't some players leaving a club still show at the B&F?

Yes there was definitely one recently.

Not sure how he would be received, but hopefully people can put aside any feelings for a night.

I think the Crows told Lever not to come in 2017.

    Re: Charles Sutton Medal

Even if he doesn't want to nominate a club yet if he intends to leave it'd be nice of him to just say so already.

If he's staying I can only assume he's drawing it out for as long as possible to try and get every cent he can from the club. A concept I'm ideologically predisposed to like. The Bulldogs are the exception that prove I'm a hypocrite.

Edit: Just realised this is the Sutton Medal thread. I blame Dunkley

Hoping for a Libba win. Had a very good year.

    Anyone but Dunks.
Our 1954 premiership players are our heroes, and it has to be said that Charlie was their hero.

Stevo reckons he will be there.

    I think Libba or Naughts.
