The Moment: Rnd 7, 2024 vs Fremantle

The moment, the best, most courageous moment that caught your eye in tonight's game against Fremantle. Was it the moment that told you 'we've got this' or 'we lost this one right here'? Or was it the moment that you went 'wow....that is crazy courage'

Or was it a collection of moments that you thought 'oh dear that's sure to produce a flood of WOOF melts on par with GG's post GF loss..

Letting Serong, Fyfe and brayshaw dominate early and not being able to cool them.

The Bont miss was bad. But we kicked the next goal didn't we? Darcy?

It was bad but not the moment. We were within a goal with about five minutes to play. Lots of 50/50 moments in that last 10 minutes when the game was in the balance.

The VDM kicking it long to Lobb and Naughton where Lobb gave away the free kick? He had West short. Doc getting the ball smothered and them taking it down the other end? Aish outmarking both Enlgish and Naughton?

Poor VDM. He did absolutely everything right and was probably having his best AFL game, but unfortunately reverted to type in a critical moment when the game was in the balance.

Bont miss is just unforgivable from 10m out. He has to wear that. That's the key moment of the match.

Aish out marking English and Naughton when the game was on the line.
    All down hill after that.

For me it was miss, after miss in the third, then Bont marks and I thought this is it we can't miss again.

The Aish mark just had to come to ground. Naughton got worked under the ball by Pearce and English as the spare had to impact that marking contest so our smalls could get to work. Allowing defenders to outmark in an aerial contest is one of my biggest pet hates - it should never happen.
