I wouldn't have thought so. The Adelaide oval is possibly the best surface in the AFL but I think I heard it's got 6 games the over that weekend. That might test it

I think it will be ok. Only has 1 game per week for the rest of the season, compare that to the MCG or Marvel. Not likely to be overly wet in April either.

I wonder how it will work with tickets? I know they are free for club members but there will have to be some sort of booking system surely? Do the Melbourne and Essendon supporters get to stay, or do they get kicked out? How do they ensure access for bulldogs supporters at a game that would have been fairly full anyway? Interesting to see how they pull this off.

They were never going to do that, they want to maximise attendances I assume. A showdown would have the opposite effect with 1 sold out game vs 2 at likely near capacity.

Play Gold Coast, so Freo supporters are the only ones interested, yet the game is scheduled for 4.40 SA time (3.10 Perth time) on a Friday.

What kind of bullshit is that?

You'd be better off scheduling it after the Friday night game at like 10pm so at least it's at 8.30pm in the state that cares.

Doesn't really matter for us. We are the 4th game over 3 days which is similiar wear and tear to what the MCG cops, the Sunday games though are back to back there so the last game then is gonna be the one that gets proper screwed.
