Pity, because it is not Truck's best position either. Maybe now his game has developed a bit, he could be given another go.
Our major positional issues at the moment appear to be wingers, burley inside mid to replace Dunkley and a small crumbing, goal sneak forward. We appear now to be be well equipped in all other areas, imo.

BT started a thread on our wingers for 2023.
Dale was suggested as an option to try there.
For mine I like B. Smith and Scott as our wingman
More of an In Bruges guy?

Was hoping he'd be a more attacking Duryea in 2023 and beyond. I do believe we have player types who can be moved to the wing (JJ, Williams, Smith even Dale) but we are bereft of small defenders who can defend. Scott was tried down there when Duryea was out and was less than ok.
I think Ed's going to need to play this role.

Dale to a wing and Williams and Richards off the back flanks might work. Both of them are good kicks.

Dale has been a revelation in the backline and is our best weapon coming out of it. I don't want to see him moved.

Richards showed a lot this year. If he can somehow take another step forward that would be huge for us.

The half back is his spot. He will get even better.
