    Twenty years at Docklands

Hard to believe the stadium has been open for that long.

Here are what the AFL believe are the 20 best moments.

    FFC: Established 1883

    Premierships: AFL 1954, 2016 VFA - 1898,99,1900, 1908, 1913, 1919-20, 1923-24, VFL: 2014, 2016 . Champions of Victoria 1924. AFLW - 2018.

I remember the first time we played there. Dad said to me 'there are kids sitting next to us so behave" First contest Paul Hudson looks the other way rather taking any body contact and the little girl (maybe 10 years old) yells out "You're *!*!*!*!ing kidding me you weak *!*!*!*! Hudson" Dad just rolled his eyes and said "go for it"
Have you been reading those Roddy Doyle books again, Dougal!?

I have, yeah Ted, you big gobshite

A new wave stadium that we committed to. It has been a poisoned chalice at times but we have benefitted from its playing conditions. Spectators however have lost the charm, the community feeling and the ground level view of our great game. Good dunny access but you can't make the place your own like the Whitten oval.

I may be on my own, but whilst I loved the community feel of the WO, I love going to Marvel. The area I sit in is like a small community as we have all got to know each other.

I really don't understand how one would think Captain Pisshead threatening a player is better than Chris Grant's effort against said pisshead, but that's just how the AFL is I suppose.

it's a fantastic ground to watch footy at. I used to get seats centre wing in the Medallion Club quite often through work and it was such a good vantage point to view the game from. When the ground is full the atmosphere can be amazing.
Nobody's looking for a puppeteer in today's wintry economic climate.
