The way they played that 3rd quarter I was almost certain they already had Reid?s signature. Giving NM a 3 win lead would almost guarantee last spot. I?m surprised they got up to win.

Hindsight's great. A 2 goal plus win. Like it or not, the 'pies are going to be thereabouts, this season. Whilst I haven't seen them, yet, mates who have say that they play direct, aggressive, accountable footy. Speaking to Melbourne people they said they felt the players were pretty much pushed to their limits and there was a fear of burn out, having said that they were more than happy to roll the dice.
