    Jamarra 18.16 from 46 shots @ 39%
    Lobb 36.24 from 74 shots @ 49%

Of course that doesn't break down set shots vs in play or the difficulty of the shots, but it does paint a picture.

As I have said before the idea that Naughton is a poor set shot these days is a fallacy. His figures are fairly standard for most key forwards in the league. Weightman we know is a fantastic set shot, Lobb maybe not quite as good as we thought but perhaps playing more games on his favourite ground in Marvel will help. Jamarra looks good kicking at goal but the reality is he has plenty of work to do to improve his accuracy. 11 fewer shots than Flea for 18 fewer goals, needs to make more of his chances.
    Does
Total Shots = Goals + Behinds + OOB + Short?

I would assume so. Anything where it appears the player was attempting to kick a goal is my guess.

There may be some grey area occasionally with kicks that fall short, I suppose those are up to the interpretation of the stats person.

I went with Lobb purely as I think Naughton and JUH will play high and deliver into F50 a lot more than previous years. Also Lobb will not miss many shot at Goal
    BB.

Looking forward - Naughton, Darcy and JUH. It will be the envy of everyone.

I went Naughton. He’s still finding his feet really as a forward and is only going to get better.

We are really going to stretch defences in the air with Lobb now so I can see Naughty getting more ground balls/snaps too.

    Lobb.
We rarely have a leading goalkicker two years in a row, and I suspect Naughton plays a little higher up the ground at times.
Lobb will likely play closest to goal

Good point. Lobb plays closer to goal and probably gets the 2nd best defender. Given he probably got the best defender when playing at Fremantle that could be a good outcome plus a few more games at the pristine Marvel stadium might help as well.
Marra should hit the scoreboard more this year as well so perhaps a great spread across 4 or 5 players.

Marra just needs to concentrate on contributing and playing 22 games + finals - IF he can

Leading goal kickers after 3 rounds

    6 Jamarra (5)
    4 Naughton (1)
    3. Baker (1)
    2. Lobb (2) Williams (1)
    1. Bont, English, Garcia, JJ, Libba, Macrae, Treloar.

We need a name for the WOOF goal kicking award. I propose 'The Busta Beaser' award. I saw it on a sign held up by the cheer squad when Beasley was strutting his stuff.

No love for previous club goalkicking winners like Billy Gowers, Sam Lloyd, Mitch Wallis, Jason Watts, Adrian Campbell, Shane Loveless, Brucey, Crammers, everyone's favourite Bulldog Aker, or even the much maligned Gia? What about Huddo, Loaf, Ozzy, or even sooky Jade? Shame that poor Cooky didn't quite scale the lofty heights - he would have been a worthy addition. To call our club leading goalkickers a motley bunch doesn't do it justice.

For mine there is only one clear name for this award - the Dead-Eye Del-Re

Don't discount that Bev might come to his senses, return Bruce to the goalsquare and that he'll regain his 2021 form.

Even Jake “Jakey “The Package” “Jakey Boy” “Jakey”” Stringer kinda turned out to be a joke as well.

With the obvious exception of Aaronathan Brown, has anyone who’s been good and stayed good ever won our goal kicking?

Or "Jesse", as Derm used to call him

My mind is blown that he won our goalkicking award more often than Chris Grant.

I think that is a long shot at the moment. They seem pretty happy with Bruce in the back line.
