GWS and us decided we will just have the intra club. Not sure on the thinking there.

We are doing an intra club match instead in Ballarat. Both us and GWS aren’t doing unofficial matches.

Would have been nice to have a hit out against other opposition.

Maybe everyone had chosen their partners by the time we rocked up? We took a look around and all that was left was the unattractive GWS standing there so we decided we would rather dance by ourselves?

Hard work watching Hunter play well given our issues in that role. Such a hard runner and clever user.

Dunkley did well apparently. No surprise. Half forward / mid, couple of goals.

Haha I forgot about that persona.

I’ll come up with a new one for this season.

Hunter has been a bloody solid AFL player for a long time now he will continue to do well. Josh Schache on the other hand is a VFL player no matter how you slice and dice it. Lack of opportunity lol Just not good enough Josh!

Melbourne much more measured with their ball use to my eye. Still going quickly from their D50 but not as much kick to space and out number as they were previously. Really noticeable how often they found a mark with their exit kick and went end to end. Hard to know if that’s due to Stkilda being cut open or a deliberate change.
