BT, hypothetically what extras are required to trade Tim English for Sean Darcy?
More of an In Bruges guy?

I give it one more week before a 'trade macrae' or 'trade bazlenka' thread is started by jeemak.

Re: Rolling Draft Order 2023
Is that 3rd tier FA compo correct?
https://www.afl.com.au/about-afl/free-agency
Draft picks will be allocated to one of five places:
• 1st round
• end of 1st round
• 2nd round
• end of 2nd round
• 3rd round

Re: Rolling Draft Order 2023
I?m not deviating from my post-2022 trade period plan if the picks stayed at these kinds of levels. Keep winning and if Brisbane find consistency then it?s getting interesting. But the cash to pull it off with change.
* Picks 8 & 11 - Best Mid Kids
* F1 - Trade Outside Run, ie Bergman (currently out on contract - apparently in our mix with Weightman when drafted, one pick later)
* Pick 29 - Trade for Kai Lohmann (currently out of contract) (after FA and bids, it?s mid-high 30?s and fair value for a kid we rate that went at Pick 21 two years ago)
* Late Picks for Points - F/S Croft
* FA - The pick of the crop probably Doedee (Currently out of contract - RFA - Adelaide may match the bid though, forcing a trade depending on compo - unless a completely unrelated trade happened with a player of ours going there?)
* Upgrade/delist several rookies hit their three year limit
* Pick a few new rookies
* Assess current vacancy or 2023 MSD draftee
- As the old men?s club retire, hope Gards, Buss, SoSOD & Croft can replace the old guys from this weekend.
- Super talls are Tim, Lobb & Darcy
- Forwards of tall with Naughton & Marra
- Hybrid medium forward in Cody
- Three small forwards in Jones, Clarke & Lohmann (forward line set for a decade with 6 natural, different forwards)
- A good intercept medium defender to replace Crozier & TOB
- First round quality mids to develop
Pretty handy draft hand after 4 Rounds on the rolling order.

Re: Rolling Draft Order 2023
Only 7 teams have a possible pick in the MSD at this stage
GWS, Essendon, Fremantle, Geelong, Hawthorn, Richmond, Bulldogs

Re: Rolling Draft Order 2023
Ok, so we have another key position father son who will cost draft points.
We need to hit the draft and start regenerating our young talent - namely midfielders. We are already two years behind the eight ball.
A few tough decisions coming up.
BT, I reckon we need four picks inside the top 30 and also enough points to pick up Croft if we want him. Your thoughts?
More of an In Bruges guy?
