Only one reason we were in at half time and that was the Bont.

    He was awesome.

English had 7? hit outs to advantage at half time.

I watched him closely all night, his positioning was perfect. Always in the hole, was a big part of our defensive setup.

Loved the couple of spikes he did late, and that mark in the last line.

    Loved his game.

He'd be a fair way in front in the B and F atm.

English finished with 14 hit outs to advantage his career best.

Okay hear me out on this but I do get the angst.
You have to own certain moments in games.
English took that big mark in the back line, owned the moment and played exceptionally well.
Treloar worked over Dunks and repeatedly beat him in the decisive contests and owned the moment.
Liberatore worked harder than anyone and tackled like there was no tomorrow.
Marra had 5 kicks and 5 goals in what was for a shy lad who doesn't crave the limelight was an incredible feat.

Bontempelli was terrific no question about it but 13 clangers was disappointing and had that brilliant piece of run and a long kick resulted in a goal then he would have owned the moment and may have got my 4 votes.

I'll watch the replay and will happily consider a vote change.

I thought Baker and Richards were sensational and Keath and Bruce did their jobs.

That Richards tackle very early on to stop a certain goal was gold. He was good tonight.
