The playing part doesnt come into it unless you quickly go into a senior role. I question if his last two coaching jobs are with cutting edge standards before arriving at us.

Fair enough on playing, but he would have learnt something under his coach Mark Williams. Then he spent time with Hardwick, Hinkley and Ratten. I think he comes with high credentials.
