This year seems a good one for defenders, and my own opinion (perhaps I'm an outlier) is that it's a good draft for wingman this year.
Wilson, Windsor, Freijah, de la Rue, etc etc. We'll pick on up at some point.
I agree, it’s the ideal draft to address defence and wing (definitely see us taking De La Rue late). I know we need to target midfielders at some stage, but it makes little sense to worry too much about it this year when there’s still strong options to target our other areas of need, unless we can trade up for McKercher.

TOB, Sweet and Roarke are gone we need new whipping boys
But then again, I'm an Internet poster and Bevo is a premiership coach so draw your own conclusions.

If it helps the budget, I’ll just stick with VDM. We all need to do our part in these hard financial times.

Well in the scenario that was being discussed earlier it was more about a future pick and next year I doubt points mean that much to us but I get the point you're making.
We seem to be getting mentioned as linked to intercept types likes Doedee and Tomlinson so it's not out of the questions that Coffield might be of an interest to us. He's missed a year with a knee so should be good to do a full preseason. At the right price we should run the ruler over him but who knows if it will work.

BT, do you think Hollands would be on the trade table scenario? I'm warming to this suggestion. It would be good to add a player who has been in the system for a couple of years particularly one who can play forwards and in the midfield.

He hasn't played a senior game in 2 years and only 50 games since he arrived in the AFL. They'll want something in the early 20's but he's not worth that.
Played really well against us in the 2020 final I?m guessing that is still in the memory bank.
