You need to ask? The trophy was engraved months ago.

They were certainly the most involved.
Goldstein - likely to play given Draper injured, basically a free hit in cost and contract (you would hope), but really a non event.
Gresham - talented but inconsistent. Should fit in well. Has the most upside of their new inclusions.
McKay - solid defender but hasn't shown a likelihood to be an AA defender. How much more than BZT will he really offer? Obscene contract.
Duursma - went from a great prospect to a 'meh' prospect pretty quickly. Has had some bad moments in finals - shame he won't get the opportunity to rectify that reputation at the bombers.
Held on to Shiel (who they don't really want) and his contract (which they really don't want).
Lost BZT who played almost every game this year. D'Ambrosio was a mid season swing so can't be disappointed with that.
It's fine, but even by dodos standards it's not a trade week winner.
I'd have Pies (I love Schultz), Swans (starting ruck and starting mid for a young side) and saints ahead of them.

Brad Johnson's biggest winners of the Trade Period:
1. Sydney Swans - Grundy, Hamling, Jordon and Adams
2. Western Bulldogs - Harmes, Coffield, Pick 4 and Croft will come in the draft.
3. Collingwood - Lachie Schultz - best player traded

Mid season trade period is apparently coming in for next season.

Clever from Bevo, you can't be judged on not playing the backup Ruckman if you don't have one.

Also as funny as it would be that Essendon got screwed by their lack of knowledge of the scenario, equally Hawthorn not realising either is hardly impressive.
Classic AFL day though, that story, coupled with their lame as hell "embargo", then their late change to a 2 start instead of 3 cause i =t was leaking anyway, then that weird piece they put out about how despite the trade period closing at 7.30 they are gonna shut up he platform at 7 so everythign needs to be an email. Just the least impressive $billion organisation in history.
I should leave it alone but you're not right

Its weird Gunston is back
Massimo could have walked, so don't know why he ended being traded for 4th round pick
Who arrived: Jack Ginnivan, Jack Gunston, Mabior Chol, Massimo D'Ambrosio
Who left: Tyler Brockman, Jacob Koschitzke, Brandon Ryan
2023 AFL Draft picks: 4, 44, 47, 49, 61, 62, 63, 83
Also, Sydney did really well adding some mature players in there.

For me Swans, Essendon and Port are the standouts.
Grundy and Adams will add a lot Sydney and Hamling and Jordon will add some depth.
Essendon used their cap space well and added McKay, Gresham and Goldy for nothing and I like the Duursma addition.
Port have moved all their chips in and went hard at addressing their needs. Soldo, Sweet, BZT and Ratugolea fix some problems.
North, Dogs and Collingwood after that.
