A 3rd rounder is about right but we don't have one this year so it would have to be a future one.
I don't think we need him but clubs will likely ask the question.

The more of Billings salary a team is prepared to pay, the cheaper he will be.

2022 Grundy was way better than 2023 English? Couldn't disagree more.

Is English as AA 1st ruck going to help us win a premiership? Jury is out - what is fact is that his AA season couldn't even get us in the top 8 this year (not his fault). That's not to say anything about having him remain on a multi-year contract worth well over $1 million a season.
It is foolish and irresponsible not to consider the size/length of the salary and the specific role when managing current and future list and cap demands.
Grundy actually proves the point about the sky not falling in if English and the club decide to part ways for whatever reason - he was the best ruckman in the game (significantly better than English in 2023) but couldn't help his team to win a flag. As soon as he and his enormous salary was replaced (with a Clydesdale ruck on the cheap who competes hard, and an American who has many and varied flaws), they have won 39 out of 52 games en route to a premiership after finishing bottom 4 only 2 years ago.

No he wasn't. Tim's numbers stack up to Grundy at the same age, if not better.

Don't think anyone disputes that Tim is a great pick for the supercoach team. More the impact he has on games

I don't think that really matters to the general point being made.

"My feeling is the Western Bulldogs are definitely interested in Nick Coffield. St Kilda have an offer to him, only one year at this point. He might be on the move if another team offers him multiple years."
