Re: Always Right Match Committee Round 9 v Carlton

So the circuit breaker for our super tight mid rotations which have only included the same 7 guys for forever exclusively playing the hits is gonna be a sorta tall cricket man who has played 3 proper games ever and wasn’t in the AFL in March?

    Okay then.

Think one of Keath or Gardiner comes out. JOD a has been our best performing back man by a long way at VFL level in his games. Brave call to go this early though.

Wow. Very surprised- thought Busslinger would have been ahead of him. Like others more surprised that losing a mid wasn’t a like for like replacement. Says more about our lack of midfield depth than anything else.

Good luck to James. Hope he kills it.

I'm getting ahead of the trend and booking his famous family in for a motivational session before the price skyrockets.

While we're at it, let's sign his younger, less talented brother up to our category C list.

What do we see his role being? Surely 3rd tall with Jones and Keath, to provide cover on Curnow and McKay?

If the plan is for him to play wing, or any role other than what he has been playing in vfl, then I don't agree with that plan.

Good for the kid. A lot of other guys playing VFL this week with bruised egos.

    Then what's Gardner doing?

This is the biggest selection shock maybe ever and GVGjr said I was crazy (direct quote based on my memory) suggesting Bus should play...before O'Donnell was even on the list!

Could be! I can’t think of something as radical.
