    Bulldog Music

I saw on Facebook and Spotify that McGinlay?s brother recorded a song for their podcast called ?The Dogs of Footscray?s Streets? and it is a really good effort IMO. Some good lyrics, hits the Aussie Rules sentimental acoustic guitar vibes.

Got me thinking, what are some other songs specific to our footy club worth mentioning, which is the best?

There?s that song from the fight back ?Old Footscray Town? from Frankie Mulholland
    Footscray by Rob Fairbairn
    Footscray by Billy Miller

Coodabeens had a few, My Home Ground, Dancing Dougie.

    Anyone care to share?

Should have kept it going as a pregame song.

    Don't under-sell it. It's a genuine classic.

The worst Bulldogs song is the one the Baked Beans Eating, Rent Seeking Arsehole put together after 1989......now that's out of my system.....

Queen - It's a Kind of Magic. Before games for a while this was played and it was super enjoyable.

Anyway, here's a Coodabeen version of a Dougie tune....which for some reason has no real highlights of the great man on the Youtube video. This tune with actual highlights of Dougie would be amazing!

Coodabeens also had a song about Rick Kennedy. I will see if I can find it.

Edit: Not a great version: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nH2UuRT0cMM

Thanks SOS. Had never heard the Rob Fairbairn one. What a ripper tune.

As well as the Hawkins and Kennedy songs, Coodabeens also did one for Jose Romero to the tune of 'Yesterday's Hero'. And one for the Bont.
