Re: AFL Game Day R22 2023

Gotta respect Sydney. Last four games:

    4 wins

Accuracy at goal: 64.32 (2/3 accuracy goal kicking over the month)

North saved their worst for the last two minutes of the game - they were putrid. Shocking to give away a downfield free kick when the ball was in your forward 50. And then they just let Essington chip the ball around.

Clarkson had an extra at the stoppage and Essendon were able to continuously intercept by keeping a guy back.
When he evened it up late it helped, however horse had bolted.

Here’s hoping for a huge Freo win. If they can jump ahead of GCS now, they might stay above them. Then the GCS first round pick for sales will be one spot higher. If we are trading for it, an extra spot higher would be awesome.

Bloody Carlton. How was Petracca’s kick not a goal.

    Trac was 100% a goal. 100%.

Why review it? No finger movement. Daylight between fingers and ball.

    Blues stole one.

Shocking miss by the umpire not to penalise Cincotta for a trip with about two minutes to go. Carlton lucky to win.

It just shows that the 'umpires call' is flawed, along with the review system.

They pay a mark even if there's a little touch, yet it's a different interpretation for a goal. Probably more evidence to suggest Petraccas kick was a goal.

Annoying to see Carlton continue to win.

Umpire said it was touched he was pretty close.

    Hard to tell.

How about the afl invest in proper cameras instead of Sony handycams from 1990 taped to the post.

If it goes to video then I think they should decide based upon video. The fact the goal umpire is in doubt and prompted video review should negate the “umpire’s call” rule. Imaging a GF being decided by a decision like that. Scary stuff.

That was so clearly a free. It’s almost like AFL want to see Blues play in finals.

Not almost but they do. They definitely do.

Let’s hope that their form is short lived and by finals they will poo the bed. Arrogant flogs.

The guffawing over Carlton is vomit inducing.

Only positive is hearing Daisy piss and moan over it on the telecast.
Nobody's looking for a puppeteer in today's wintry economic climate.
