Was only a corky. They needed him or Keeffe to do much better as the 2nd tall target - Pies gobbled up all the high balls in the 2nd half

Super tight game. Very impressed with the way GWS ran it out.
They refused to play a free kick either way. So the ball just didn’t move for about 7 of those minutes. So many really obvious frees that had to be paid.

I did turn the offer down. Hard watching football with supporters that have NFI

The competition loses credibility when obvious too high and trips aren't paid. It's not OK.

    100% agree.

The head is sacred and to be protected at all costs and then they allow how many big hits to the head tonight with zero free kicks?

As soon as you get the footy you have to stand up straight and be perfectly upright even when changing direction otherwise players are allowed to rip your head off.

    It's nuts.

Just simplify the rule, unless the player with the ball leads with the head or ducks to initiate contact any tackle that slips below the knees or above the shoulder is a free kick to the player with the ball.

Move on and stop the embarrassing ambiguous bullshit.

We're a long way off with that fight for the contest.

We've just never gone close to replacing the heart of Morris, Moyd, Picken, Clay, Dahlhaus etc.

Greene and Idun too high were frees 100 times out of 100. So was Green trip.

Guy sitting in the front way cackling was Josh Garlepp, a guy from WA who does Instagrams and podcasts. Definitely not a giants fan.

It's so obvious that outside of Bont, we are conditional and don't have that unrelenting dog-hungry attitude across the board. Both teams tonight are so far ahead of us in that unconditional attitude.

It's what makes this group almost impossible to like, let alone trust, and why the group of 2016 were so special. They dealt with a lot of adversity to win it, whereas it feels like our current group couldn't be more fragile at any hint of momentum against them.
