    Training 18 April

There were a few players missing today as they are playing tomorrow for Williamstown. 2 of those were Peter Street & Callan Ward. Wayde Skipper did train with the rest of the players today.

Johnno trained & trained well. I expect him to play.

Griff copped a cut to the head & came off early, tho no problems there.

Spoke with Shaun Higgins who said his surgeon has him on track to return about round 16. He has had a total ankle reconstruction.

The Elite Learning Centre is an advance in light years to what the players previously had. They have room to warm up prior to training on the area that has a football oval painted over it which is used for showing players how certain situations on the ground may evolve.

Wayne Campbell couldn't get the smile off his face as he's just become a father. he has a daughter named Molly. Congratulations to Wayne & his wife!!

I heard Shaun Higgins say they sold a few hundred memberships last night, tho they could have done with some clerical assistance as the calls they took were long due to the need for them to complete paperwork, which caused the calls to back up & some people experienced a decent wait. I guess some might have given up too.

it was good to see Tom Williams running around & being involved in all the drills/match practice.

It was also good to see no one riding the bike. Those who went to training pre season will tell you there were many instances of that, but today apart from the our injured 3, the rest were actively involved.

Great update TCD, you've made my lunch break all the more enjoyable. Good to hear that basically the whole group is able to participate at this stage.

Interesting that Skipper is being held back as the emergency, must be getting pretty close to a recall.

    Nice report there Coon.

But how did you get in to watch? The site says they arent allowing fans to watch untill July/Aug - is that total bs? Were there more people around?

Shame I dont know anyone with any connections whatsoever.
Anyway, majority thinks a teenage girl wanting to watch training is just there to 'watch'
so its hard to be taken seriously haha
