    Ha it totally does.

I like the stripy background they had for photos like Geoff Jennings and Rick Kennedy.

    Ted Whitten jnr #22?
    Chris Burton #16
    Magic McLean #51
    Simon Beasley #18
    Brian Royal #33
    Rick Kennedy #8
    Steve Wallis #24
    Leon Cameron #18
    Geoff Jennings #25
    Michael Mckenna #34?
    Tony Mcguinness #11?
    Les Bamblett #9
    Brad Hardie #4
    Allen Daniels #5
    Chris Hansen #16?
    Jim Sewell #2
    Andrew Purser #1

Chris Hansen was #17 but apart from that your numbers are spot on. Except Geoff Jennings changed jumpers with Terry Wheeler at halftime one day and word #35 for a half
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

It's great to have you back auditing historically related posts mate.

I had the Ted Whitten and Geoff Jennings on my duffle coat. Can't believe there is no Dougie one, can only presume you have it in a glass cabinet on display where he belongs

I would surely have had one. Must be somewhere sacred as you say!

I still have my original scarf from circa 1984/ 1985 with the VFL logo on it (and that's still the only one I'll ever wear to a game), but the badges that I had from that time seem to be casualties....albeit I didn't get many players - more so club emblems.

He did. Apparently Fitzroy wanted $70 000 for him and we wavered so the Lions threw in a steak knives player called Peter Foster to get the deal over the line!

He was a fairly good set of steak knives. Fossie was a gun. Other than those couple of years Chris Grant played there Peter Foster was the best centre half back we've had.

He was good enough to play with Victoria as a CHF and a CHB I think Laurie Nash was the only other player to do that and from what I've read Madh was a pretty good. I read a story about Nash having a day out and kicking goals for fun.. He took a mark and said to the man on the mark "I can't decide whether to kick this with my left or right. Whadda you reckon?" and the bloke on the mark said "why don't you bounce it off your big ****ing head?"

When you say that I think you're a Doug Savant from Melrose Place.
