Ditto from me. Congratulations.

I'm sorry if you're going to make words up we can't continue this conversation.

I can tell you that George Lucas did use Tagalog, the national language of the Philipines, for the Ewok language. However he did not use Cebuano/Visayan, regional dialects, for anything to my knowledge.

I've gone from mildly amused to fascinated now.

I’m one of those weird few who disliked the Star Wars movies and have never sat through entirety of first one made. Of course with so many homages to it I feel like I’ve seen it anyway. Had to sit through a few of later ones whilst accompanying my (then young) son. Harry Potter and marvel movies similarly leave me cold.
However this is a great bit of trivia Hujsh, so thanks for that. And congrats on your engagement.
PS I’m not totally anti fantasy - I enjoyed the Golden Compass books and recent series imo pretty good.

Being anti-space opera is OK Josie, it's probably weirder that heaps of people are into it than otherwise.
TF is this?.........Obviously you're not a golfer.
