The gaslighting about crowds is going to be a theme again. Apparently it's an absolute sell out tonight......

The only way van rooyen was going to kick one. Commentary make out McVee is a star. Never hear of him before tonight. I hope Melbourne play Schache next week.

Been busy so haven't seen the game but good to see Gawn getting beaten up. Hope he's sore next week

There is an ever so slight chance that Melbourne's culture isn't quite near where it needs to be.

    Demons have been horrible.

Grundy done a number on Gawn.

Whats with all the bandaged legs at the Demons? Shunts Lions style.

English better be taking Gawns space every contest next week, just like Grundy has tonight. It's been an incredibly effective tactic.

Grundy certainly all over Gawn tonight. Hoping Bevo and co are taking some notes tonight watching.

The Dees don’t look fit to be honest. Have been noticeably blown up this quarter and aren’t running hard without the ball at all.

I see Billings is playing for the Dees. He got picked before Bont right? 😂 2 possessions for the night.

Basically at every centre bounce Grundy just ran straight at where Gawn was and got between him and the ball. Took out any athleticism from Gawn, he was basically stuck to the spot. Towards the end of the match he started being right on the middle line of the circle to try and negate the tactic.

Boundary throw ins were more of a wrestle but Grundy tended to favour front position.

I also missed chunks of the game so if anyone saw differently I'd love to hear it.

Let's just enjoy our good fortune. Plenty of us wanted him at our pick myself included.

Most of you underrated the Swans. I thought that they would win.

Grundy was terrific. Add in Parker, Mills and Adams, and they will be an interesting side.

Last season, I thought Gawn had lost something and father time was catching up with him. Perhaps tonight might be the start of his slide.
The fight is here; I need ammunition, not a ride.
