We will need to keep check off Serong next week thus rotating players will keep them relatively fresh.
I would put Garcia on Serong and give him a hard time

    I think Lobb, Sanders, VDM
    For Jamarra, Libba, Daniel
-Sanders can get some confidence out of dominating vfl for a week.
-Daniel should play half forward and become like Gryan Miers. Hope he plays there in the vfl this week

From Bevo?s presser Marra might not play next week - he basically said wait & see.

    Out: VDM, Harmes
In: Libba, Daniel if he plays really well tomorrow

    Harmes as sub

Saunders to play VFL rather than sub second week in a row (or if Daniel is mediocre then he is in starting 22)

I’m sorry I just don’t see any hardness or urgency from Sanders.
Looks like he just trots around.

I'm guessing he is conserving energy because he is struggling with the pace of the game? One things for sure Sanders will be playing VFL next week.

Not sure we'll see Marra back next week, even if it is a longer break between games. Bevo is usually on the mark with his assessments on that front.

    In - Libba
    Out - Harmes

Hard for him as sub with limited exposure or experience at the level.

I'm inclined to give him a month of VFL footy.
But then again, I'm an Internet poster and Bevo is a premiership coach so draw your own conclusions.

Re: Always Right Match Committee Round 7 vs Fremantle Dockers

    I think structural change.

Richards stays in the guts. Daniel takes his spot down back for Bramble.
Manage Darcy by playing him as sub.
    Marra, Sanders & Libba in.
    Clarke for VDM (inj)
Williams needs the dropping effect that?s getting blocked hungry again

In: Marra, Libba, Sanders (sub), Daniel, Clarke
Out: Bramble, VDM (inj), Darcy (sub), Williams, Harmes

    JJ Jones JOD
    Daniel Buku Dale
    Gags Libba Sanders
    Clarke Lobb West
    Marra Naughton Cody
    Tim Bont Treloar
    Doc Macrae Richards Garcia
    Darcy

I think there is **** all chance that after a 10 goal win we make 4 changes. Sure Libba & Marra need to come back in, but Daniel can stay where he is and Clarke isn't ready to come in in what shapes up as an extremely important game.

Williams was fine last night... sure he missed a goal late in the piece when West was free, but he was 40m out running clear and should've just kicked the goal.

I think the option to throw Richards into the midfield is a lever to pull through games, but he's an exceptional HBF and I would like him to play the majority of the game there.... especially when many of our medium sized defenders are better offensively than defensively.

You’re probably right. But it’s what I’d do not what the MC will do. Realistically it’s just the two changes.

Re: Always Right Match Committee Round 7 vs Fremantle Dockers

Only change for me is Clarke in and Sanders and VDM (concussion precaution) out.
Clarke was good again last week until he got that niggle, but stayed on field.
Save Libba a trip west and see if the new look centre rotations can work as good as last night.
    For sub, maybe Caleb.

He's also just not very quick, which we knew when we picked him.

The guy is an inside mid but there are a heap of very good inside mids ahead of him. He's mostly playing outside/flank because he's a good footballer, but I think we're doing a little bit of judging a fish by how well it climbs a tree.

Yep, he's going to be a gun for us.. but he's a young boy in a hurry and with a strong senior core ahead he is going to have to bide his time... a 2-3 week run for Footscray where he can be ''the man'' isn't going to do much harm for his development.

Re: Always Right Match Committee Round 7 vs Fremantle Dockers

Calls to drop Harmes are off the mark I reckon - he just instinctively does team-oriented things at all possible moments. He lays blocks for teammates in better positions to create more space for them, he runs hard defensively to spoil bigger opponents. I bet his game last night was valued far more within the 4 walls than in the outer.
