How close are you to Whitten oval?

If I stood in my backyard and got onto a decent torp I could just about land the ball in the car park at Whitten Oval.

My first 4 years of my life, I lived within two torps from the car park. We then moved to the other end of barkly st (towards Totty) for a couple of years.

These days, I am in the inner south-east, or 19 klms away.

Yeah the choice of watching Ryan Griffen train or spending time with my daughter is one I struggle with daily That and the whole trying to skive off of work to go to a 10am training, although I know there's certain members of this board who have less trouble with that than I do.

She's at the age where she's tall enough to hit her head on tables which combined with the new found ability to run has her looking like she's taken up boxing. I'd hate to think what she could have done to herself in the outer at WO.
On a side note my brother actually slit his eyelid open on a piece of wire sticking out from a fence at the Junction Oval in about 1983. Sometimes the old suburban grounds had some downsides.
