Tim Walsh - Has he re-injured his knee?

While I think we know that Tim Walsh had some hamstring issues after his knee injury I am now under the impression that there is a concern that he has re-injured his knee.
If this is correct, it is shattering news for him because he has worked so hard at getting himself fit.

Nothing in the papers or on the club website from what I can see.

Did he not play for the C's on the weekend?

Bobby Murphy said that Tim would be back in the next couple of weeks at Werribee on the radio yesterday. Didnt say anything about a new injury at all.
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

Lets hope that is correct. It's just very strange that he rarely appears on the injury lists reported in the papers.

Atkin's report had him as playing limited game-time for the Bees 2's this weekend past. No news of injury in that report (which is not comprehensive by any means).

I sat near the non playing players on Sunday ( Grant, street, addison etc) and he was there and walking fine. Also heard on SEN Murph mention he should play either this week or next, but did say his hammy was worst than what the other knee reco guys was.

It's an interesting one. I hope he is OK and just slowly getting back into playing a few quarters of football.

It is a little strange not much has been said about him - hopefully he is ok.

That's what I thought. Scooter said on BF a few days ago that he did play on the weekend. But then again, so did McDougall and he was obviously injured. The sooner we have our own reserves team, the better.

Do you really think this will happen? I'd question that we could absorb the additional costs.

I think the club is VERY keen to make it happen. Wouldn't be easy by any means.

    No, he didn't.

Stack, Tiller, West, O'Shea and Hughes played for Werribee reserves. Tiller and West kicked a goal each but none of those 5 made the best player list.
