Sure. I have a genuine question though that I raised above -- does a club take on a player's existing contract (if they are still under contract to their previous club) when they trade for them, or do they negotiate a completely new contract?

ps. Quite a few in the media are suggesting that we've got our feelers out for the Fev situation.. groundless speculation or smoke where there's fire?

He's got a 2 year contract worth 700K per annum. Someone has to pay him this. It doesn't get negotiated down.

This is why they wanted a 'dickhead' clause in his contract. It's ridiculous that he could essentially end his own career and potentially still get $1.4m for doing nothing over the next two years.

It would take to be a big chunk of his salary paid by Carlton and Lake leaving for us to be a chance salary cap wise you would think, and even then what do we give Carlton for him and what do we do for a FB? I think the Hall deal will get done and we won't chase another old KPF
If you kicked five goals and Tom Boyd kicked five goals, Tom Boyd kicked more goals than you.
