And they gave the western suburbs all time elite eker Jack Fitzpatrick a couple of more years after he'd been on Melbourne's list for 6 years for 22 games. Hawthorn gave him 2 more years and 4 more games for a grand total of 26 games over 8 years.
Have you been reading those Roddy Doyle books again, Dougal!?

    Re: Ekers

Farewell to Majak Daw. 54 games across 11 years - possibly too many games to qualify, but an average of under 5 per season I personally think that is the definition of ekeing.

It is always a sad time for Ekers, and with the potential reduction in list sizes I fear for their safety.

This is the time for the real Ekers to shine.

Definitely some players on shaky ground in this list. Tom Campbell secure until 2021 though!

Big shout out to Rocco for creating this thread. It never fails to deliver. Great to see Tom Campbell still has another year to run at North. I hope he gets a decent run at it next season

    Outstanding class of 2020

All with their own stories to tell - Linden Dunn A good player with the Dees before heading to eker phase at the pies

Can Darcy Lang survive another year and become part of the leadership group

Lachie Keefe a fine contributor to this squad

I fear for Keefe's longevity after tonight's performance.

Darcy Cameron not a bad back-up to Lynden Dunn at the Filth
