We are missing Grant, Murphy, Monty, Griffen and McMahon - five very good players.

Yet the team announced above is still pretty strong, with handy replacements like Power and Robbins.

Aside from KPPs, IMO our depth is the best for a number of seasons.

    Thoughts?

It probably depends on whether they win, on paper there appears to be depth but if the depth dont win, then it aint really depth.

It's definitely the most depth we've had for many years, and although we're not as deep as someone like West Coast with our quality, we're getting closer. KPP depth is still the one area of weakness, although the emergence of a few younger options this year has been pleasing with Wight, Williams and Everitt all showing good signs for the future.

Grant, Murphy, Griffen and McMahon are pretty good quality to be out of the team this week as well as three more to be dropped from the named interchange bench this week. That makes seven players and with some good recruits such as Williams, Everitt, and some other young talent not yet tried, the future is looking very bright. Agree that we must blood some KPP's for the next few years with Grant, Darcy not being around the next few years and no one really settling in yet to CHB, CHF, although Wight is progressing.

If they win with the current team on the weekend I will definatetly say we have some great depth.

    And now?

We are really being exposed for a having a poor pipeline of ruckmen and tall forwards.

Depth in midfield, struggling with depth with ruck
