Still hard to believe that Fremantle traded their number #1 pick for Croad.

Initially he basically used his athletic abilities to get through, however later on in his career his was an OK defender, not elite or worthy of the number #1 selection by any stretch.

If any one of us did that it would be an on-the-spot fine. Did he suffer any consequences for his elitist (funny that brainless footballers/ex-footballers are the 'elite' in this town) behaviour? If not, no wonder they keep repeating it when the rest of the world rewards their boorishness.

No, because unfortunately I'm not a policeman and there weren't any there (surpisingly). For only the second time in my life right then I wanted to be a copper.

Haha.. surely the question begging is: what was the first time?

Oh sorry. That does sound cryptic. But it's really quite simple. the first time was when I was younger and dumber and applied. Missing out was the best thing that happened to me. A tough, thankless job.

It's funny, I thought he was OK, but no more than that, but the Hawks fans went apeshit when he was traded and were ecstatic when he returned and they still think he was extremely brave rather than selfish over the GF injury.

He must have had some charm or he is really good at the BS.

I don't like Dunstall for the most part, but I can't stand Quarterbrain either.

I'm suprised it didn't end up turning into a slapping match.

Agree don't like either also. Any negative thoughts or questions to Dunstall about the goings on at Hawthorn usually get the toys thrown out the cot type answer. Quatermaine I'll always recall thought Hawthorn were ''Really Struggling'' when asked on air about the appointment of Clarkson. A dimwit of the highest order.

A lot of people thought that, he got a premiership and thats awesome but I am really interested to see how they go with him at the helm over the next few years.

Last year was horrid and i tend to think that year they won was a one off, but time will tell.

I look at them as a mid table hard working team, much where they ended up.
