Boyd a vote highlights just how under performing most of the others were. In the first half when it mattered most Boyd was as much the problem with his poor use of the ball and inability to negate the effectiveness of Pendlebury, Swan & co.. The vote is as much for his perseverance and effective last quarter but it doesn't sit comfortable that he was deemed one of our best. A great example of stats belying true effectiveness.

Mark most have missed the 1st 3 quarters or has chosen to forget they ever happened.
Grant had 5 touches in the first 3 quarters which by anyone's measure is bloody poor. Getting 6 touches in the last when the game was over doesn't warrant a mention in the bests in my opinion, but finding 5 to fit in the bests was probably a hard task.
I did like Grant's desire and competitiveness throughout the game though, but he wasn't effective until late.
