    Chris Scott to coach Geelong

Jon Pierik - The Age - 17 October

SEN radio is reporting that former Brisbane Lion premiership player Chris Scott will be named the new Geelong coach tomorrow.

SEN's Tony Schibeci says the Fremantle assistant coach has beaten former Mark Thompson assistants Brenton Sanderson and Ken Hinkley, who is currently working at Gold Coast, to become new Cats boss, and he will be signed on a three-year deal.

SEN and Tony Schubecci not an overly reliable source!

If true, not sure thats a great move for Geelong, I don't think much of his brother at North and he is probably the same. The North attitude in the first game vs us this year was pathetic.

Lost Thompson and McCarthey, Hinkley last year. I don't think Sanderson will be hanging around.

Big call by the Cats. Highly rated the Scott Brothers, although Brad made some rookie mistakes he did a good job

Well, both Scott boys are now in senior gigs before their 35th birthdays.

Whatever I (or anyone else) might think of them, this is a pretty impressive achievement. One thing is for certain, they are certainly good at talking a good game and psych testing in that family...now I guess we are going find out how they go putting together a coherent game-plan.

The Geelong gig is a bit of a plum in terms of finances and administrative support, so Chris is sure going to have a good run at things.
What should I tell her? She's going to ask.

Would Brad be kicking himself for pulling the trigger too soon?

It is an impressive achievement for brothers let alone twins and their age.

Chris has a great list, his own VFL side and all he needs to do is a decent case forward for any training equipment or support staff and he will just about be assured of getting it.

He beat some good candidates as well.
