Jarrod Grant hoping to put a new sting in the tale

Matt Windley - Herald Sun - 3 December

WESTERN Bulldogs forward Jarrad Grant hopes he is now better known for his football rather than as the guy who was stung by a stingray.

Grant, the No.5 pick in the 2007 national draft, enjoyed a breakout season this year, with 29 goals in 20 games

But more than anything, he just wants people to forget the 2008 incident when he stepped on a stingray at a Port Melbourne beach.

You are a hard task master.
In the short time at the club he has shown nothing but promise.
