    Except it should include

    Adam Cooney (Knee) Monitor
    Brian Lake (Knee) Monitor

I will be happier when we have arguably our two most talented players back to full fitness and free of the shadow of possible knee injuries. (I know some people are never happy).

Noticed that hope that means goo news on Roghy, although I will not hang my hat on it. The website has had players as out when they have played.

Bad luck on Tom Hill. From what I have read he was showing some good signs.

I didn't even think of that. Could be a debutant this week.

Would like to see Dahlhaus promoted.
Like how he gets involved early in the chain of goal scoring opportunities.

The MC may be tempted by Barlow given Roughy's injury and Hudson struggling.

Correct me if i am wrong but is Tom Hill a rookie?

Can't put him on LTIL and elevate a rookie

Nup he was picked in the National Draft so door is now open for Dahlhaus, Barlow or Hahn (or Johannisen).

He'd have to be close to a certainty.

    Re: The Injury Thread 2011

Structure wise, wouldn't Barlow be a decent option? Our current ruck set up is a liability at the moment. Huddo is declining quickly and Minson is being wasted as a quasi-stay at home forward. With Hall to return, this is amplified.

Minson should take 75% of the ruck contests, with Barlow to take the remainder and then go forward or back where required. This means Williams, Jones, Markovic etc can play their actual positions in stead of trying (and most likely failing) to pinch hit.

I'm excited about Dahlhaus and I know we need speed/defensive pressure in the forward line, but with a crappy ruck set up, he'll have nothing to chase down there any way.
Our 1954 premiership players are our heroes, and it has to be said that Charlie was their hero.

100% correct, you just need to look at Geelong with Ottens and Collingwood with Jolly, we need to get the rucks sorted and the rest should fall in line.
    BB.

Looking forward - Naughton, Darcy and JUH. It will be the envy of everyone.

I stil think maybe throw Markovic into the ruck once Lake is back in. I am sure he rucked a bit at Willi last year.

While I'd be happy to see a young runner in form elevated, comrade's summed up my thoughts perfectly

As much as I love the Doll House and loves the 99 crew, I hope we go with Barlow.

Our ruck department (and team in general) is not not the sum of it's parts. I don't rate Barlow as highly as Hudson as a player but I think he will bring more to the team as a 2nd ruck.
