WOOPS, I meant ranking, but I think you knew that.

Anyone else do the C/VC switcheroo this round?

For those unfamiliar, its a little rort that goes something like this when there's a partial lock out:

You select a captain who wont play (in my case, Hurn from WCE who have a bye) & make sure you have an emergency who will play. Make a Saint/Lion as your Vice Captain; in my case Goddard. That way if your VC gets a big score you leave it as it is.

If your VC doesn't score big, when the partial lock out opens up, make a gun player as your Captain & put the 'other' Captain on the bench.

I had Goddard as my VC & he scored 120. Should I keep him as my VC & get 240 points, or roll the dice on Swan getting more?

Same here..Swan will get 100-110 on a bad day..would have been nice if Goddard got 135+

I am another one going with Swan as C. 120 is below Swan's average + I don't have to sacrifice an emergency. The latter is especially important due to the doubt over Krakouer being selected in the 22 on Anzac Day.

Inside the top 30,000 now and I think I should start trading next week.

Some advice needed. Do I use Heppell and Curnow to upgrade to Swan and bring in a cheap rookie (I'm thinking Pedersen from North) or do I hold?

Collingwood have the bye in round 7, so I am going to hold off on Swan until round 8.

Had a Barry Crocker - 1980 and now ranked 25,000 odd.

My 7yo son had 2289 ranked 1080 for the week.

Similar story. Had a bitterly bitterly dissapointing 1969. Didn't get word of Krakeour's ommision until after the lockout, which left me with Harris on the bench doing SFA.

I had a decent round - 2169 including a duck egg from Darling and 11 measly points from Richardson (who I thought could be this year's Barlow but has been a bust).

Spewing I didn't leave Boyd captain.
