I'm currently mulling over Cross or Cooney as my Bulldogs midfield player. I currently have Crossy, who is very consistent, but Cooney perhaps has the potential for bigger scores and is a bit cheaper....anyone care to offer an opinion?

is there people complaining that they dont have a spot? the last i saw people were entering a second league to make up numbers. If he hasnt finished his team by lockout he will be booted automatically and replaced with some random, it's not going to affect the league in any way.

There is every chance he is waiting for teams to be announced before finalising his team

Fair enough. I shall just leave the system taking care of everything then. Normally, you would have completed your team and only doing some light adjustment just before the first game lock out. I just want to compete against someone in WOOF instead against someone picked randomly by the system.

It's harder with the bye, you have to make sure you don't have too many players from one team in each section, or you won't have enough players to field a team once they have a bye. Guess that's pretty obvious, but didn't have to take that into consideration last year.
