Adelaide have won only 13 of the last 38 games. Craig is an employee of the club, I wonder if he will still hang around.

Craig, 55, has coached the Club since Round 14, 2004 - first as caretaker coach and then in his own right - for a total of just over seven years.

In that time, he has coached the Club to 92 wins and 74 losses from 166 games, and five finals series in those seven years.

Whats the deal with that? Does Danger love Craig?

Crows Chairman, Rob Chapman, praised Craig’s tenure and decision: “Neil has, as always, demonstrated enormous integrity in making this decision. He’s been true to his word that the Club would come before his own career, and has made the call as we expected he would.

“I can’t speak highly enough of Neil. He’s made an extraordinary contribution to our Club since 1997; and more particularly since taking over as coach midway through 2004.

Yeah, he said something along the lines of he'll only stay at Adelaide if Craig keeps coaching.

That now gives him an excuse to leave. Even my dog new that Craig's time was up, and he's more of a Motor Racing Fan.

I think so - I don't believe he'll be interested in moving from Adelaide for work though

He/Adelaide got ripped off with injuries late in 06 - that happens to many clubs, but at full strength they looked the goods for the flag until about a month out from the finals. Only missed out on the GF by 10 points to West Coast in the prelim, and were in front early by a few goals and still by 8 points at 3 qtr time.

Yeah, that's the one player they'll rebuild the team around. They have a few other good sorts too.

    Sloane or Petrenko for mine.
But then again, I'm an Internet poster and Bevo is a premiership coach so draw your own conclusions.

Kurt Tippett. In the right team, could be the making of him.

He's handled the situation today with his normal business like manner. He's an impressive guy.
