Appearing on The Footy Show tonight. Interested to hear from him.

    All class.
Sad to hear him talk of the Bulldogs as "them", "they", instead of 'us'.

Don't blame him one iota. It would be very uncomfortable, pointless, and most of all a feeding frenzy for media for the next 3 weeks. Imagine if he coached and we beat the Hawks (yeah I know, snowball's chance, but bear with me) then the media would be all over it like a bad rash, “Sacking premature”, etc.

I just hope I get the chance to shake his hand. I hope he coaches Melbourne so I can duck down to training for Melbourne one day next year and say my thanks.

There were a few “us”es, and he even kept coaching, talking about Port's forward line, etc.

True, I guess the others just stuck in my mind.

I'll be doing just that - ten minutes from Casey Fields, I'll head down to say thanks if he goes there.

I wouldn't think that would be the case.

I agree, Rocket deserves our thanks for the effort he put in and the results the team achieved under him.

I can only echo the words of one of the little old ladies on the boundary fence, although she was talking about the sacking of Alan Joyce at the time.

"What a shame, he was a bloody gentleman he was". (High praise indeed coming from this group of supporters).

Well Rodney you too are a gentleman and I for one was proud of the way you represented the club during your years as coach.

    Thanks Rocket.
