Why do umps feel it necessary to give the team that is getting smacked any and every free kick possible?

a 10 goal win this week...a 15 goal loss next week. A rather soft end to this game.

I thought we might be treated to a rare Bulldogs huge win, looking like 100+ points. But true to form, whether we're up and about or down and out, we just fail to cut the oppositions throat. So disappointing.
