I mean vic team vs vic team. They should play interstate teams there.

How does playing in Ballarat address our requests. Is the playing surface in Ballarat is big as the MCG, the wind and weather is ok.

Good Friday night footy at the MCG would be a good start.

I'd be asking for 5 Friday/Thursday night clashes and 5 MCG games.

A good thing to come out of Saturday was that it was one of the few FTA games where we really showed off what we can do, and hopefully networks will realise that unlike all the "big clubs" like Carlton, Essendon etc we are enjoyable to watch and will rate.
I should leave it alone but you're not right

Hate it - we've been the Melbourne based lackeys almost always given a game in Tassie against Hawthorn. It's time to put a stop to it. Let Melbourne or even Carlton do some of the interstate travel heavy lifting. There should be a punishment for finishing on the bottom - if the bottom club get benefits at draft time, they should he punished with the fixture.

Agreed, about time Collingwood, Carlton, played Tassie, Kardinia Park, Western suburbs Sydney or Canberra games.

    2016 Bulldog Fixture

    - Would like a few Friday night games

    - To have more away Victorian games at the MCG

    - No twilight games

I'm not sure the whole fixture thing is that big a deal.

As a middle six team, we'll get 1-2 top 6 teams twice, 1-2 middle teams twice and 1-2 bottom 6 teams twice.

As a top 6 team, we would've got 2-3 top 6 teams twice, 1-2 middle teams twice and 1 bottom 6 teams twice.

    Not a massive difference really.

Middle 6 group of teams look strong - Richmond, Bulldogs, Port, Geelong, GWS, Collingwood.

Wouldn't surprise in the slightest to see 3 or 4 of these in the top 6 next year.

Western Bulldogs to get easier fixture in 2016 after elimination final loss to Adelaide

The AFL on Sunday confirmed to the Herald Sun it would stick with its “weighted rule” where clubs are divided into three bands — 1-6, 7-12 and 13-18.

The Bulldogs, Richmond, Port Adelaide, Geelong, Greater Western Sydney and Collingwood make up this year’s middle six.

    THE WEIGHTED RULE

    Fixture policy for 2016

    TOP SIX

    - play 2-3 top-six clubs twice
    - play 1-2 middle six clubs twice
    - play up to one bottom-six club twice

    MIDDLE SIX
    - play 1-2 top-six clubs twice
    - play 1-2 middle six clubs twice
    - play 1-2 bottom-six clubs twice

    BOTTOM SIX
    - play up yo one top-six clubs twice
    - play 1-2 middle six clubs twice
    - play 2-3 bottom-six clubs twice
