Alternate AFL ladder: If only they'd kicked straight
Emma Quayle has looked at clubs kicking inaccuracy and compiled a ladder showing, what if they kicked straighter.
Full story: AFL season 2016: What the ladder would look like, if teams had kicked straighter for goal
Interesting we wouldn't be much better off:
Adelaide 50
Geelong 48
Sydney 48
Western Bulldogs 46
GWS 44
Port Adelaide 44
Hawthorn 40
West Coast 40
North Melbourne 36
Richmond 30
St Kilda 26
Collingwood 24
Melbourne 24
Carlton 22
Gold Coast 20
Essendon 14
Fremantle 12
Brisbane Lions 8
Hawks have taken their chances and are currently on top, but would drop down if other clubs were more accurate.
FFC: Established 1883

Interesting. Seems that we're not the only ones blowing our chances.
Of that list Port Adelaide is probably the most damning. The ladder remains essentially unchanged otherwise.

If you kicked five goals and Tom Boyd kicked five goals, Tom Boyd kicked more goals than you.

We are equal fourth from the bottom for goal accuracy .
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.
