How many times have we heard this now. It's become just fill in the blanks now.
Wretched blow and luck for Lin and all those around him.

Too many times now. When we will luck change on the injury front?
I wish for a speedy recovery.

Murphy set to return, Picken in doubt
Western Bulldogs captain Robert Murphy looks set to return this weekend after recovering from a hamstring strain suffered during the side’s Round 10 win over St.Kilda, according to Head Physiotherapist Chris Bell.
Bell told westernbulldogs.com.au on Tuesday that Murphy had ticked all of the boxes so far and will likely lead the side out against the West Coast Eagles on Saturday afternoon at Etihad Stadium.
“On the weekend Bob Murphy completed the final stages of his rehab for his hamstring injury, Bell said.
“He’s due to return to full training this week with the squad and is line for selection this weekend.”
However, there is some doubt around Liam Picken’s availability after damaging his MCL in the second half of Saturday night’s game against North Melbourne, though Bell is optimistic.
“In the third quarter of the game on the weekend Liam Picken was involved in a tackle. During that incident he damaged the MCL, the medial ligament in his knee,” he said.
“This ligament has pulled up really well today but we’ll go through our processes with Liam this week to dictate his availability.”
In positive news for the club, big man Tom Boyd is in the mix to return after missing the last two weeks with a calf complaint, but will do so through the VFL.
“Tom Boyd had some persistent calf tightness in the days following the Melbourne game, Bell said.
“He completed a rehab football session on the weekend and at this stage we are aiming that he returns to some restrictive minutes in the VFL over the next one to two weeks.”
And finally, midfielder Lin Jong’s ACL reconstruction was a success and he will begin his rehab program this week in the next couple of days.

Liberatore to face test
Western Bulldogs midfielder Tom Liberatore remains a chance to take on Adelaide this Friday night despite battling a corky according to Head Physiotherapist Chris Bell.
Liberatore will need to satisfy the club’s medical staff that he’s recovered from the injury suffered in the Round 14 clash with North Melbourne before he’ll be considered for selection against the Crows.
“During training last week [Tom] struggled to hit his top end speed so we pulled him out of contention for the weekend,” Bell told westernbulldogs.com.au on Monday.
“During this week we’ll work through a process with Tom and if he’s able to get back to top end speed we’ll put him back up for selection.”
Big man Tom Boyd is another battling injury and was withdrawn from Footscray’s side to face Collingwood in the VFL on the weekend. He will also be assessed during the week.
“Tom Boyd is continuing to reload his training volumes following his persistent calf tightness, Bell said.
“We’ll work through our processes this week with Tom to determine his availability.”
Finally, midfielder Lukas Webb is recovering from an ankle injury suffered during Footscray’s Round 10 win over Werribee.
Bell said that Webb will be tested this week before deciding if he’s available to for selection this weekend.

Campbell really struggles with having his body hold up to the physical rigours of week in week out AFL footy.

Adams listed as indefinite rather than season. It's only a word but surely that can't be good?

You would think TBC would be a better description, but TBC seems a shorter period than indefinite.

Re: Injury List - 2017 Season
"Indefinite" suggests no end in sight. It takes the pressure off the player to get back, takes pressure off the staff to diagnose and set a date. "Indefinite" suggests there is no certainty of when Marcus returns at time of diagnosis.

It's better than season ending....marginally.
